Mayor hosts Bann rowers

Bann Rowing Club members pictured at a reception hosted by the mayor of Coleraine, Alderman Maurice Bradley, in recognition of the club’s many outstanding achievements this year.
THE mayor of Coleraine, Alderman Maurice Bradley, has hosted a reception for members of the Bann Rowing Club.
Alderman Bradley, a keen sports fan, was delighted to welcome the club's Irish rowing champions to the Cloonavin.
It's been another remarkable year for the club with several of the club's young talent winning national titles, including ladies sculler Sarah Allen.
Other notable performances in the past 12 months came from double European and triple Irish champions Joel Cassells and Christopher Black, cox Jack Henry and double Irish champions Matthew Wray and James McAfee.
